Editorial Note
The essays I have listed here specifically address the many facets of change -- be they societal or environmental. We cannot manage the change we do not contemplate or understand. As a boy, I read the stories of the great science fiction writers. Men like Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Robert Heinlein, and H. G. Wells told of a future that was awesome in its incredible positive and negative possibilities. Others wrote of science fact that was equally amazing and terrifying. Writers like Rachel Carson, Stephen Hawkins, and Carl Sagan wrote of changes that were warning signs to humanity. I have endeavored to keep my political views out of what I contemplate in terms of change. However, I have created a bibliography of my many writings over the last two decades on my personal website.
